Rights CoLab Co-Founder Paul Rissman participated in the hybrid event Why Should We Care About Sustainability and Human Rights in Infrastructure Selection, Finance, and Implementation? hosted by the University of Connecticut Business and Human Rights Initiative and co-sponsored by the Research Program on Economic & Social Rights and the Engineering for Human Rights Initiative. Following a lecture by Motoko Aizawa, Paul spoke about inequality in the context of the energy transition and climate finance, contributing to a broader discussion on the sustainability and human rights challenges that arise across infrastructure projects and the climate and geopolitical pressures shaping them.
