Ohimai is a multi-media journalist, with extensive experience in the use of social media to communicate with diverse audiences. He has worked as an ambassador for Microsoft in the campaign against cybercrime in Nigeria, set a record as Nigeria’s youngest presidential campaign manager ever in 2010, and served as a ministerial advisor in Nigeria’s federal ministries of Youth Development, Sports, Defence and Foreign Affairs between 2011 and 2015. In 2016, he worked as Project Coordinator of Ghana At Work, a multi-media project that documented infrastructural development in Ghana. He is the founder of Signal, an online newspaper and presented Kakaaki Social, a daily television show that amplified the voices of Nigerians on social media. He is passionate about the issues that shape global trends in media, politics, governance and human rights. He holds a Master's degree in Political Reporting from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and a certificate in Corporate Communication from Cornell University. Some of his writings have appeared on platforms like Slate and JSTOR Daily.
