Ohimai is a journalist, social change advocate, new media strategist and online publisher. Since graduating in 2007, Ohimai has worked as an ambassador for Microsoft in the campaign against cybercrime in Nigeria, set a record as Nigeria’s youngest presidential campaign manager ever in 2010, and served as a ministerial advisor in Nigeria’s federal ministries of Youth Development, Sports, Defence and Foreign Affairs between 2011 and 2015. In 2016, he worked as Project Coordinator of Ghana At Work, a multi-media campaign that documented development in Ghana under former President John Mahama. He is the publisher of Signal, an online newspaper and presented Kakaaki Social, a daily television show that amplified the voices of Nigerians in the social media. He is passionate about the issues that shape global trends in media, politics, governance and human rights.
