The author describes his takeaways from discussions at the November 2017 Global Perspectives conference organized in Mexico City by the Berlin-based International Civil Society Centre. The conference, entitled New Resources for New Programmes, aimed to ease well-established CSO leaders out of their comfort zones and encourage a radical re-conceptualization of how they organize and resource their work. The author delivered a keynote presentation at the conference on Rethinking CSO Business Models.
